  1. Glad you are featuring this Xaan. Your title "Hawk vs Dove" is interesting. I'm curious how you arrived at that.

    1. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I have trouble thinking he's a dove even if she's the hawk ... or is she the dove who manages to overpower the overconfident hawk? Anyway, it seems more like a shark vs a puffer fish IMO. :)

    2. Hey yboy

I have to credit Ace for this analogy. It's a reference to the article she wrote about the ancient Amazons of Samsun, Turkey...if you remember that one?

    3. Ah. Yes. I have read that but I just went back and read it again ...

      >>> Real accounts of their battles are awesome, often outnumbered against male armies with superior weaponry they destroyed the greatest armies of men with a preference to punish in a melee of hand to hand combat - one account uses the simile of hawks killing flocks of doves, leaving no doubt Amazons were brutal “who holds them and rips out their entrails with hooked claws while blood and torn feathers float down from the sky” The lack of weaponry indicates how intrinsic to their being there physical superiority was – they sometimes fought with their barehands just to prove their ability to do so. In ancient warfare normally melee is the single thing a good commander will bend over backwards to avoid at almost any cost. But this is where the amazons thrived they would deliberately close to close-quarters. At extreme close range It becomes on close range almost impossible to use the axes. So they fought with fists and feet. - ferociously strong they would tear men physically apart as the hawk to the dove <<<

Certainly, with that in mind it's clear that she is embodying the spirit of those Amazons who could easily shred men like helpless doves. This man's engorged muscles might as well be feathers for all the good they do against his female adversary.

  2. As an awkward teenager I was intimidated by females because of fear of rejection. I overcame that, but now I fear females because I know they can beat me up.

    1. It's actually completely natural for males to fear females. Females are inherently more powerful than males. Our fear of the female is not much different from our fear of any powerful force of nature. Unfortunately patriarchy has channeled that fear into a force of rampant destruction and relentless oppression of women. That oppression has to be relentless because the only way males can oppress women is with constant, societal pressure. But as we are seeing, that oppression is failing because women are indeed a force of nature who have gotten stronger as a result of being kept down. Like a volcano, the pressure of keeping women down will only result in a feminine explosion of power that will simply dissolve patriarchy like lava.

Males have a choice, either we participate in opposing female power (patriarchy), which means we will be destroyed ... or we channel our fear into admiration, awe and respect.

  4. Found an interesting article which may relate to this video.

Apparently, in addition to the technical advantages women have, which are well documented in this blog, there's still more! Women "choke" less than men under stress. Assuming an equal amount of stress, the male's performance will be diminished than the while the female's will not. So any advantages she has against him will be amplified while his anxiety simply makes him weaker.

A man will always be stressed when competing against a woman because his ego is at stake. Unfortunately for him, he is caught in a vicious cycle of depletion as his ego just drags down his abilities. Women overcome their stress and remain strong!

    1. Many women have a psychological disability when having to compete with men, but I think we all know the true causes of this (definitely nothing to do with stress handling ability itself)...

    2. True. That is the problem. Women's strengths and confidence are often squelched by the relentless psychological impact of male propaganda about the physical superiority of males and so women lack self confidence. I think that's what you mean. But don't you think this may be changing?

    4. I knew a guy who openly believed that women mustn't even think about competing against men. Then he faced serious health problems...

    6. To yboy: Not sure whether the problem has become less intense or less consistent, but sure enough some of us have understood that we can actually solve it.

To Raffaela: This time it sounds like you 're telling us about some weird coincidence...

    7. I think the fact that fit shaming still exists at all is mostly a symptom of how deeply it was engrained in the culture before the internet era when it was easier for the patriarchy to prevent women from sharing the truth with each other. Since it's become possible for information to be shared globally, women have been educating each other. Males have no chance to stop the rising tide of female power but will resort to any desperate tactics they can even as they are backed into an inescapable corner by the Amazon Nation.

    8. I don't know which reason has the biggest part on the problem, I only know we have to get rid of all the reasons supporting it.

    9. Sorry, Axel, I cannot answer your question. I can't even reveal whether the incident was a coincidence, let alone a "weird" one. The reasons for my silence are to be kept secret as well.

  5. It is always schocking for me to see how easily ("easy peasy" like polegirl said) women can overpower us men. Although he is muscular and seems to be strong, she needs no minute to leave him limp on the mat.

  6. Axel, true. It is shocking if we still think that big male muscles are automatically and advantage. Often they are actually a disadvantage since bigger muscles can mean slower reflexes and they do nothing to protect a man against a faster opponent trained in using pressure points. And if a woman chooses to fight "dirty" there is little even the most muscular make can do to defend himself if she targets his weakest spot.

    1. Not sure why a woman would choose to fight dirty, since we know we can win fair and square...

    2. :) Very true. The "low blow" is hardly necessary.

    3. It is usually done afterwards to prove a point. Silly boys always think that they are stronger because they have a pair.

I know boys who challenge girls to a fight and bragged about his balls. After she defeated him she kicked him in the sack when he was still lying on the ground to remind him of her superiority.

    4. Agreed. I'm not a fan of this tactic as it is completely unnecessary.

    5. Moreover, guys use it as a means of discouraging other girls from getting stronger.
