There is no doubt, that Maria Wattel will defeat 99.9% of us men in any physical contest. Most of my fellow guys would say: "No wonder, she is professional, she trains since years every day in the gym" and so on. But this is not the point, the point is that the avarage girl is superior to the avarage guy, even physically. Due to our genderroles, most men (and women too!) will disagree, and to change this, it is imo important, to show the "girlnextdoor" her superiority over the "boynextdor". A girl beating up a boy is always an exclamation point in the battle of the sexes!
Maria is a great inspiration and there are many others who try to inspire girls to utilise their physicality in a poistive way instead of wasting it. Social conditioning is a powerful force, we've had centuries of it, but despite this, female's natural abilities still manage to come to the fore. You are right about the "girl next door" we need to encourage more girls to realise and accept their superiority...
Good fight, though a novice she gave a master class in stand up striking, immediately the man came at her, he wants to knock her out, he bobs a bit in south paw stance as she backs off, you can see he thinks he is chasing her down but the fool doesn’t realise she is drawing him in, 10 seconds in she throws the first jab from orthodox stance well out of range, baiting him in, she throws another couple of sharp shots that he walks onto as she continues to draw him in onto a rear leg round kick (13 seconds in) perfect technique for an orthodox boxer against a south paw. Then she dances off still drawing him in, he follows he has a good guard, he is no flake, he is a male mma fighter, no girl can beat him he must be thinking, suddenly she switches rhythm at 16 seconds jumping in with a crackin right cross behind a feint jab, credit to him he leans back and evades it then comes back with everything he has got right left right then right kick, solid deliberate blows that he must of spent many hours drilling and practising, you can see he has skill against a man they would probably have landed and done damage, against another amateur man he may win, unfortunately for him the fighter he faces though an amateur is a girl, with her superior reflexes she blocks and evades the best he has to offer with contemptuous ease and lands 3 jabs through his guard, backs off and kicks - he manages to parry he is aggressive he wants to finish her he chases again, her jabs frustrate him, they are too fast every time he closes distance she tags him he manages to evade a few but can’t get in on her he steps it up again at 40 seconds but her footwork is unreal she pivots out and he hits empty air she is totally playing with him allowing him to continue to chase her until at 48 seconds she changes again and decides to show him what she has got – girl power! She is stronger she is faster. A blistering barrage of unanswered punches, 14 in the next few seconds, each one a bomb targeted with deadly accuracy, her strength and power literally knocking him across the cage from one side to the other. It was a good call to end it in the terms of fighter safety, he was putty in the hands of the female warrior, she could easily kill him with her bare hands, a fantastic demonstration of girl power and female supremacy!
Her speed is phenomenal! And the power and accuracy as well! Between 1.35 and 1.40 she throws well over 20 punches nearly touching 5 punches a second over 5 seconds, and these aren’t pitta patter punches, everyone is like a cannonball! that’s one big heavy bag, but see how it shudders with each impact! That was probably the heaviest cumulative series of punches I have ever seen, during that last flurry she makes hollows in the solid bag as deep as a head! far more impressive than one I saw of the male heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury training – In fact so much more impressive I wouldn’t give him or any man a chance against her in the ring. This is strength This is beauty This is power THIS IS WOMAN!
Visualisation has become a necessity for all serious athletes, be it fighters, football players or whatever other sport you want to take into account. So we can not only say she uses visualisation, we can also add that she uses it well. She's quite a strong athlete, but anyone would have taken her longer to defeat, had her use of visualisation not been good. So, for good use of this tool, remember to visualise your opponents to be slightly tougher than you think you are, at least as far as the defensive part goes. Defence is endlessly important, as this is what keeps you well in the fight and lets you win it...
