Some tips on fighting by Amy Schmid

Hello, dear readers. Earlier today a friend of mine sent me a link to an interesting video. Have a look:

A crossfit girl showed me (member of the "stronger gender") the advantage of female muscle quality: In a "playfull,fun sparring" - how she called it - she needed only one single punch, and I slumped limp to the mat, taking a little nap. Later on she aplogized for knocking me out COLD, not for delievering me the KO at all! She simply underestimated her power! Literally: "If I had known, that one punch from me is enough to hammer you unconscious, I woluldn't have punch as hard." I think, there are many women outside, who pack a KO punch without knowing it!

  5. In my experience when girls display this kind of confidence - it is never a bluff. If a girl challenges a guy, it's because she KNOWS she can have him. my advice to the guy would be - Run as fast as you can pal because you don't stand a chance.... Men will often use confidence as a bluff but women never do....thus female confidence is far more lethal...

    3. During my time sparring with a lady was taken place in a ring so there is no where to run. Running around a ring wasn't pretty and I can't keep up with her superior strength and speed. She manage to slip past my defenses and ended me in front of the crowd. But at least in a ring the referee will be there to save you!

    4. To Xaan: Indeed, a supremely fit female can't be slow. A good fitness rate is always going to work in favour of speed, not against it.

    1)an analysis over powerlifting and women: squat, bench and deadlift and the benefits they give increasing strength and muscle hyperthrophy
    2) an analysis over some wrestling holds, the most brutal and the ones who necessitate more strength: grapevine, bodyscissor and bearhug

    2. 1) First off I would strongly recommend reading the hellfire queens previous articles on here such as women’s technical advantages, social conditioning etc. they nicely summarise the science and biology behind female physical superiority and help give valuable pointers for girls and women who want an effective gender specific weight/strength/sports training program.
      The lifts themselves are the same for women as for men and there are plenty of instructional pointers to the techniques all over the web, but what I would say specifically for women is to lift heavy and to smash it at higher intensity than men do (we can put more into our workout due to our physical superiority!).
      Make sure you eat well, with the emphasis on protein and good fats (e.g. olives, fish oils brazil nuts, avocadoes), eat protein and carbs only before and after training since female strength is less reliant and responsive to glycogen carbohydrate mediated glycogen synthesis than men i.e. the energy to work our muscles comes better not from the starchy foods men require but HEALTHY fats(subcutaneous fat will lie between the skin and muscles and in the right proportion will be kept firm by the muscles you will NOT be flabby) and eating more proteins to obtain positive nitrogen balance ), also eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and keep processed foods and refined sugars to a minimum meals high in both fat and carbohydrates should be avoided. Proper nutrition will aid both in recovery and also the natural release of human growth hormone, produced in the pituitary gland, our bodies can produce it in far larger quantities then men, when your natural optimised levels of HGH kick in you will have a major promotion of bad (visceral) fat loss and lean mass growth in the form of muscle and bone. Vital for your amazon transformation 
      A good tip is in comparative tracking of your progress; if you go to the gym with your boyfriend or a male friend keep charts of both of yours progress and best lifts. If you haven’t got a guy to train with, or you don’t want to train with a guy, clock a male regular of the gym and secretly make notes of what he lifts and compare it with yours over time. If you train and eat properly the results you’ll see over a fairly short space of time will be really nice, as whatever gains and improvements the man makes, I guarantee yours will be so much better! The superior physical power of your body compared to a lowly a male will shine through, and you will look, feel and be a total badass!

Weight lifting should be used in conjunction with lots of stretching/flexibility work, rest and playful activities like grappling and/or striking martial arts for the best effects.     3. 2) Before analysing the holds, the first thing I will say is it is not knowledge of the holds//submissions alone that will enable you to be a successful grappler, practise and drilling of the set ups and transitions to move into the hold is vital to possess the ability to effectively apply them. There a many different drills and moves to help with this that you can practise if training at home, I like to practise rolling drills with both a swiss ball and also an unhung punch bag for ground fighting, learn how to wrap the legs and utilise hip and leg movement on the ground. For standup clinching and throws, practice gripping and pulling on a belt wrapped round a post or tree (a belt can also be treaded through the loops of a punchbag for similar workouts). The emphasis for all drills is on balance and stability and being able to both apply constant pressure and bursts of power to mess up and dominate your opponent.
      So now I go to the holds/subs. I’ll start with my favourite, the bodyscissors. Essentially the basics is the side scissors - with one thigh behind a man's lower back, and the other, either low on his stomach or higher on his lower ribs you can crush and/or torture a man. It is one of the most fun, empowering and satisfying ways to play with a man there is  The power we can train to generate with our thighs is tremendous, once the hold is on his life is at your mercy. Practise the hold by initially squeezing on laundry bag before moving onto a more solid punchbag. Cross your legs at the ankles keeping them slightly bent and then straighten the legs out, turming the knees in slightly, at the same time lift your hips off the ground and activate your glutes, this greatly enhances the leverage and enables the thighs to work together much more effectively to generate enough force to prevent the man from pulling away, and gives you the options from merely holding the man in a firm grip to painfully crushing him into submission, rendering him unconcious or you can even, if you are not careful ,cause a fatal injury. Infact I have never been able to go full scissor power while open mat sparring for fear of causing real bad hurt on the guys
      But you need to practise and drill the hold as you can see for optimum power there are many fine compound movements involved. Measure your scissor power with bathroom scales to check your progress in application, when I first started I could squeeze80 - 90kg. Now I can squeeze the full range of my scales, 130kg, without even giving it my full effort.
      Note while using bodyscissors you struggle to get the submission remember you are still holding the man securely. In a way this makes it more fun. there is still plenty you can do, for instance every time he breathes out give apply a greater squeeze so it becomes harder and harder for the man to breathe. Slowly torturing him into a submission/unconciousness. A man in a scissors is pretty helpless and you can pretty much inflict pain on him at your whim and go for different subs, for instance it is easy to grab his arm and apply an arm lock from this position. Pulls his elbow, thumb up, over your thigh, hip or waist and traps his arm under your arm pit. Lean back and you have a painful a painful arm bar which can snap his arm

    4. 2) contd, a) There is also a variant of the bodyscissor, the Body Triangle or Figure-four body lock. This is a technique that is employed from the back. With both legs wrapped around the man It is achieved by pulling the heel of one foot into the back of the opposite knee, creating the 4 shape in the figure 4. Like the scissors it creates a significant amount of pressure against the ribs of the man, hindering normal breathing. I like to combine the body triangle with a Strangle. While he is trapped between your legs put your right arm around the man's neck so that his throat is in the crook of your elbow. Next place your left arm under the man's armpit, bend your arm back at the elbow and put your right hand into the crook of your left elbow. Now with your left hand onto the back of the man's head force it forward into the strangle, while pulling back with your left arm on your right hand to tighten the strangle.

      The grapevine may be applied as a pin/control from top position, or as a counter from the bottom. most typically it is used from the top as a form of mount. It is a very stable, dominant position. The Grapevine is most easy to apply when the man has his legs bent, knees up in what is called open guard. You have your legs threaded through the man’s, hooking around with your feet to stop them escaping. use your bodyweight concentrated and applied through your hips to keep his body down and pin his arms
      Now increase the pressure by straightening your legs. Add to his discomfort by spreading your legs apart forcing his legs wide apart. For extra humiliation use your hips and pelvis to repetively strike his lower abdomen to weaken his stomach muscles and make him more fatigued and helpless. To finish him off you can neck crank him, wrist lock, or if he has a gi/jacket apply a sliding collar choke
      The bearhug. Essentially you are face to face and either you punch or shoot in to the clinch and wrap your arms around your opponent and squeeze . Normally I do this move as a prelude to a take-down though it is perfectly possible to sub or squeeze out a guy providing he’s not a huge 20 stone or something. You wrap your arms around a guy your size or smaller and engage in a full power squeeze you can leave him crying and begging in no time. Simply womanhandle the male.
      Position your arms so they contact the bottom portion of the man’s rib-cage. As your arms envelope around his body, ensure they contact his lower back and kidneys. Lock your hands together in what is known as the gable grip, this is where your palms are together, fingers wrapped round over the thumbs NOT under.With your hands locked together, begin to apply the squeeze pressure to your victim . Rolling the knuckle of your uppermost thumb into his kidney as you do. To take him down, whilst still applying pressure push your head against his chest and he will buckle back. Put a trip in for extra effect if you want. (This is the simplest most energy efficient takedown but nothing stops you from picking him up and throwing him down if you wish). To dominate or sub from bearhug keep applying constant inward pressure on the ribs, so like the scissors it becomes harder to take a full breath. And as in the scissors the man’s oxygen supply becomes less and less. Eventually there’s not enough oxygen brought into the body to feed the brain. Once the brain becomes oxygen deprived, unconsciousness will occur.

    5. ") contd b. A warning to note with these techniques, The ribs are not as strong as you would think, the ribs are attached to the spine and wrap around the body attaching to the sternum. They are attached to the sternum by cartilage. This cartilage is very delicate and can break rather easily. For example during the first compression of CPR, you can actually feel the cartilage of the ribs break away from the sternum.
      A strong woman squeezing a man around his floating ribs will be able to break them easily. Broken ribs, like other bones, leave jagged edges. Once a rib is broken it can puncture organs that are vital for survival. Be careful when you beat on a guy not to injure him too badly unless it is a life or death situation!
      Having said that, to defeat a man, especially if he is a supposedly ‘strong’ man, an alpha male, and to have him powerless in a hold. To know that I'm in complete control. To know that if I choose I could break every bone in his body and he couldn't do a thing to stop me is so elevating, it’s a wonderful wonderful feeling ;)

    9. No I have training partners from both genders, just the men I don’t give any respect to unless they have earnt it. Unfortunately, though women’s numbers are growing, men are still the majority in numbers who train in combat and strength sports. Maybe as an idea for posts and the new amazon nation project be designing motivating memes to inspire women and girls to not be as ronda rousey says ‘do nothing bitches’ and to have a go and unleash their untapped power?

    11. Do do try these moves hellfire queen you’ll love them they feel soooo good! One more thing to add on scissors is the physics/biology on the difference between men and women’s hips, The Q angle of the knee is a measurement of the angle between the quadriceps muscles and the patella tendon and provides useful information about the alignment of the knee joint. Now a normal Q-angle in men is 14 degrees and in women is 17 degrees. Now the torque you generate by physics is = force x distance x sin the angle, sin 14 = 0.24 and sin17 =0.29, so you can see if you have a man and woman of equal leg length, say a metre and they can both exert 500N force inwards from each leg/glute combined that the man has a scissor force of (50 x 1 x sin 14) x 2 = 240N while the woman (50 x 1 x sin 17) x 2 = 290N, considerably more than an equivalent man can produce, now factor in that even sedentary females have on average stronger thighs and glutes than males (12%) and longer legs per height and you can really get a feel of the sports science/physics/biology behind the devastation girls can dish out with scissors. Especially if one trains them! One more tip as the fulcrum point is at the ankles the higher up the inner thigh you squeeze the better it is and the better it feels also ;) so give it a go let me know how you get on! Scissors are a finisher, as is often noted it is always over for the man when you get it on them and that is just science physics and nature :)

    14. While our Queen is pregnant, I am not, so I did get my chance to try it and YES, IT WORKS GREAT! The guy could not breathe and I wasn't even trying! Of course I let him go as soon as I drew my conclusion, but he was severely coughing and could hardly stand up for a few minutes. Luckily, none of his ribs broke. But he did realise I could have completely crushed him...

    20. I was talking to a friend recently who is a highly trained professional bodyguard. He happened to mention in conversation - not prompted by me, that " If women only realised the strength they have in their legs, they would never need protecting from men" and "Most women could scissor any man to death with ease if they wanted to - I'm dreading the day they realise this cos I'll be out of a job".... I just gave a wry smile and pretended I was hearing something I didn't already know ;)

There you have it, this is such an observable reality that even a highly trained pro bodyguard cannot even deny this, and this is a man who by the sounds of it only has awakened to the strength that sedentary females possess - a key factor in female physical superiority over men is that the females who have never trained or participated in sports in all their lives have stronger leg, hip and glute muscles than males. I agree with HFQ I wonder what he will think if he ever witnesses a trained female muscle upper body power bear hug – the ability of a woman to snap a man’s spine in her embrace!
      It is good that he acknowledges women are powerful, sexy and scary, but he needs correcting on one point it is not MOST women who can scissor any man to death with ease, it is ALL women!
      I have said it before and I will say it again, there is something extremely satisfying with controlling a man with your legs for the effect of full female domination. Most men do not know how to guard against these techniques. They are used to fighting with arms, not legs. When an amazon attacks a man with her legs a man often doesn't know how to defend himself. He is a lion in a shark tank his in-ability to cope with the surprise that the attack creates is often enough to allow an amazon to encircle the man with her thighs, so she is ready to then crush, torture, and dominate him. I like to have the arms free because it can really hit home to the man how powerful you are if you hold him in your scissors then start texting your bff or chat to her on the phone all while he struggles helpless xD
      Of course if you like you can also use the upper body - wrapping your arms around his head, and pulling it into your boobies to have a combined scissors and breast smother – crush him and suffocate him lol

      A thing to add with head scissors is the difference between crushing on his throat or his neck – with the throat you have one thigh behind the man's head and the other across his throat and you can easily crush down on the windpipe and stop him breathing – he will really hurt and thrash – when you let go not only will he be incapacitated for a long while, he will probably also vomit (believe me I know) it is that brutal xD a more “gentler” way is to do it by crushing the man's neck between your thighs. As you will be constricting the man's cartoid artery and jugular vein you will cut off the supply of blood to his head and render him unconscious (you should act responsibly if it is not a life or death situation though!!!)

      An extra thing to add for the girls who predominantly practise striking arts such as karate or kickboxing - it works well with these striking arts, especially after scoring with a kick/strike and then this take down. is this technique can be widely instigated from standing position – the flying Body Scissors or kani basami (crab claws) as it is known in Judo, or it was until, like bodyscissors, it was banned. It is also one of the few judo moves that are also banned under some BJJ rules as well – it is that devastating and dangerous particularly when applied by a female (so be careful when you practise it had a super high injury rate)

      A fast leaps at him, use your legs to encircle him, one leg in front one behind than twist from the hips the force of this impact will take him down and scissor him at will :D

    23. Thank you once again, Ace. I think the most appropriate name for your suggestion is "The flying scissor". Rest assured, I will try it (just like I did with the other moves you suggested to our Queen) and then come back here to tell you my impressions. In any case, as our Queen has also stated, we have many options on how to show a man the truth about strength. And she does not stop there. Apart from stating it, she has proved it so convincingly so many times it is absolutely impossible to argue against. I 'm not behind either, as I 've also taken down many different guys with my bare hands and feet. Note though that, despite having concentrated on striking for years, I find grappling quite easy to use (I got it right straight from attempt one), so it only adds to the variety of ways to take guys down.

    24. Chronic activities don't do much for strength and fitness rates but are good for stamina. Our lungs are more capable than men's, despite size being against us, so why not use that advantage too? Constantina

  8. So very true Anonymous. My ex wife use to practice on the heavy bag and hang by holding it in tight guard and do sit ups and also straighten the legs to strengthen her scissor. She could hold on with no hands for about 5 min, I could barely hold on at all. I couldn't believe how much endurance and strength she had in her legs.

    2. She has, and we weren't playing around it was an extremely competitive moment/incident. Approx. 2-4 mins in a tight body triangle leaving me some what weakened and fatigued, then finishing with a straight on scissor between bottom rib and hip bone. Didn't think pain like that was possible, and very scary feeling when released. Felt like electricity running through my spine! So no thanks to having that done again!
