A radical new blog about the physical empowerment of females

Can a 14 year-old girl take down a US marine? Watch this...
Ok she's obviously trained in the art of grappling, but he's a lance corpral in the US army. He must be pretty tough to at least survive basic training, but he is clearly no match for this younger, more powerful girl. look how quickly and effectively she brings him down and makes him tap. Apparently she was only 14 at the time!!! Girls - think you can't take on and beat the tough guys? - Think again...
I've said it before, I believe grappling favors the female, in regard to natural physical attributes, whilst striking favors men GENERALLY (please don't any girl punch me in the face for saying that! lol). Since 90% of real fights go to the ground, sufficiently trained girls are going to be defeating similar-sized men. Obviously a huge size-difference would give the advantage back to the man, but only if it was something stupid, like double the bodyweight. I honestly believe Ronda Rousey could defeat 200 lb professional boxers, in a real fight.
Hey Stewie - hear waht you're saying, but when you say that striking generally favours men are you thinking more in terms of fists and upper body mass? Striking can also be done with the legs and feet and I wouldn't think that females are in any way disadvantaged there. Also being taught how to punch is generally not something our society has traditionally deemed appropriate for females, but in my experience girls that are more accustomed to punching can hit just as hard as guys and often more effectively - sometimes having all that upper body mass can make a guy slow....
From my experience, humans don't fly, so all fights are kept on the ground. Seriously now, I defeated three bullies alone without using any grapples, and I was just 9 years old... So I don't think I am supposed to believe that striking favours men at all. Pupstar is right to say that girls are somewhat "banned" from punching, but if more girls start training for strike combat, men will have no luck. On the other hand it is true that men strike better than they grapple... Though this last thing will be totally unimportant when more girls show what the female body can do at striking. I just hope for more girls to get to know this. (You can also help there if you know in person any talented girls/women by telling them to read this blog...)
It seems like in the matches I've just sen on this site the guys always seem to look like they get an imediate "on top advantage." But the girl soon overcomes that with speed and agility and stregnth and comes out the winner. Girls seem to be able to make themselves stronger and still keep speed and agility. Men tend to get bulky and strong and lose speed and agility. This girl is my kind of girl.
Good observation! Females are actually more natrual fighters than males. Their fighting abilities are drived from the ancient instinct to protect young so they are usually more tenacious and determined. When the two worlds collide on anything like a level playing field (i.e. size, weight) - it is often the female that comes out on top - Hence the saying "The female of the species is deadlier than the male".
In this clip the girl is at least 4 years younger than the guy, but she still brings him down with relative ease
And again the known cause. Estrogens, as I explain in one of my articles here, have some advantages over androgens, so it is 100% normal that "the female of the species is deadlier than the male", as Pupstar says. Men get bulky because of the androgens' fat-friendliness, as I have also explained in the article "Women's technical advantages".
As far as punching is concerned: Bone mass and density favors a man.The size of a massive object such as a man's 4" - 5" wide fist compared to a girl's 3.5" - 4" fist means the man has a bowling ball compared to a soccer ball. THEN it is determined by how FAST that mas can be moved. If the woman can move her punch trhough the air much faster...there goes the man's weight and mass advantage. Then the only problem is when the connection is made. Bone density....The girl may break her fist or wrist upon impact while the man's fist wouldn't break but it may break the jaw or cheekbone of the girl he hits. But like I've said before...what would Mrs. Neanderthal have done? Would she have been able to take Mr, Hater's best punches and then bash his face silly. I bet so.
I don't think I 'd suffer that much if a man ever managed to punch me, but since I have lost to girls with decent punching speeds (and decent fist mass, to be fair), I am now used to basing my game on blocking the opponent's moves. Having a man in front of me doesn't change this, although I 'm sure I 'm facing less of a danger against a man than against a woman. You have no idea how hard a woman can punch if well trained. Our seemingly small fingers have better quality muscle mass, so we aren't facing any big danger against men. It's the woman's fist you must fear the most!
Actually, that bone density thing is a lie. Human Growth Hormone, along with proper nutrition and training, produces better bone mass, resulting in us being more durable than guys. Constantina
I 've seen this video again somewhere. And I am really happy to see it again here:)
